It is in charge of receiving, storing, routing, and forwarding SMS messages received from mobile phones. It’s also known as a service center or a short message service (SMS-SC).

SMSC’s responsibilities are as follows:

– Wireless network users’ text messages (SMS) are received.

– Text messages are stored.

– Text-message forwarding

– Wireless network customers get text messages (SMS).

– Text messages should have individual time stamps.
